MEET OUR FOUNDER,
Faiza Peetz, M.D.
After retiring from a successful surgical career, Dr. Faiza Peetz decided to pay it forward. She joined a local university to help educate the next generation by combining her clinical expertise with theoretical scientific understanding. Her time in higher education opened her eyes to the widespread need for funding to launch projects with the potential to improve lives. Faiza founded Oakenshield Partners to help private and public organizations navigate the complex world of funding. She credits its success to the attention to detail she developed in medicine and her team's outstanding work ethic.
In her free time, Faiza enjoys wine, sampling bitter marmalades, and hiking with her family. She lives by the words of Maya Angelou: "My mission in life is not merely to survive but to thrive, and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style."
